Candle lighting is an auspicious time to pray for a complete recovery for those who are unwell. Our community's list can be found here.

Notes:
1. Rosh Chodesh Iyar begins Thursday, April 23 at night and ends after Shabbat, April 25 evening
2. Remember to insert 'Ya'ale v'Yavo' for Rosh Chodesh in Birkat HaMazon, the Al HaMichya after Bracha, and the Shemonah Esrei/Amidah.
3. Beginning on Sunday, April 26, 2020, we resume the reciting of Tachanun during the Weekday Shacharit and Mincha Services.
4. We can read Kiddush Levana (Sanctification of the new moon) on page 612 in the Artscroll Siddur, on any night beginning on Sunday night, April 26, up to and including the night of Wednesday, May 6, 2020
5. Ashkenazim are permitted to shave and take a haircut on Friday in honor of the double simcha of Shabbat & Rosh Chodesh
6. Don't forget to count the Omer. Shabbat is Day 16.
