Thursday, April 18

8:54 PM - Earliest time to search for chametz

Friday, April 19

7:30 AM - Shacharit, followed by a siyum (completion of a Tractate of the Talmud) by Brad Cohen and refreshments sponsored by Brad in honour of everyone having a stress-free and kosher Pesach! - 125 Coltrane
11:00 AM - Last time to eat chametz
12:09 PM - Last time to burn chametz

BURNING OF CHAMETZ:

The City of Vaughan will be providing a special bin for the burning of chametz at the BAYT. The Vaughan Fire Department will be present to supervise the ceremony.

Please note the following details:

  • The bin will be located in the far South East corner of the parking lot
  • The bin will be available on April 19th from 7:00 AM to 12 noon.
  • Only Chametz in paper bags is accepted and permissible. Plastic bags are not permitted because they are a pollutant.
