"The time has come" The walrus said, "to speak of pious things
Of building a community, one fit for queens and kings"
So dear friends, you're all invited for tea and idle chatter,
Don your hats and come discover who'll be the next Mad Hatter

In the garden of Nikki Cohen, our gracious Queen of Hearts
You'll sip some tea, enjoy cakes and treats, and feast upon some tarts
Brick by brick we'll build our shul, and lay a strong foundation
Making good use of your contribution and perhaps a gracious donation

Now don't be like that Little White Rabbit, who claims he's always late.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER Lynda Fishman
Meet our inspirational guest speaker, Lynda Fishman, acclaimed author of "Repairing Rainbows", a compelling memoir of her courageous journey to overcome a devastating childhood tragedy.
At just thirteen years of age, Lynda's life came to a disastrous halt when her mother and two younger sisters were killed in a plane crash. Teetering on the tender brink between childhood and adolescence, Lynda faced the responsibility of a father immobilized by grief, a house to take care of, and hundreds of decisions about how to proceed with their shattered lives.
Her heartbreaking yet triumphant story highlights her search for positivity and strength in the darkest, most difficult of times. Lynda teaches us that ultimately we always have choices, and choosing to live courageously is what helps to overcome our struggles and obstacles. Lynda and her husband Barry, along with their three children, are heavily involved in fundraising for children dealing with tragedy or illness. She is the founder of the Repairing Rainbows Fund, a charity supporting children dealing with grief and loss.

Copies of the book are widely available in stores and online. Those who have read the book prior to the event will benefit from an enriched appreciation of Lynda's presentation. For more information visit www.repairingrainbows.com
